
Hash Hendrex is a British American actress, writer, DJ, sound engineer, barrel racer and overall creative being. She was born in Sydney, Australia but grew up on the open lands of Plant City, Florida before relocating to Ibiza, Spain. She now resides in Los Angeles, California.
Throughout her child hood she spent countless hours riding horses. In 2008 she won 1st place in the 4D division of the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) . She attended Tomlin middle school where she was the lead in the “Snow Queen” play where she was then scouted to attend Progress Village middle school of preforming arts where she was the lead in her school plays every year which then lead to being invited to attend Blake high school of preforming arts to major in acting before graduating early at 16 to move to New York City to attend New York Conservatory Of Dramatic Arts for 2 years. During that time she also snuck into many New York night clubs having found another passion of electronic music.
In 2010 she filmed her first short film “Trophy Wife” directed by Voula Duvol which premiered at Cannes film festival. Whilst in France she decided to swing by Ibiza, Spain again and made the decision to move back to continue her journey into sound having the desire to do some traveling in Europe to explore the world before settling. Once there she discovered Romanian electronic music which led her to move to Bucharest, Romania where she spent countless hours collecting records and working on Ableton. After two years of exploring her new favorite country she decided to move back to London and attend SAE for a BA in sound engineering. Whilst in London she continued to stay busy as she was signed to Lenis models and nabbed one of the first non airbrushed makeup campaigns for boots no 7 mascara line “tahdah” juggling school and modeling didn’t stop her from helping to start a underground warehouse party called “keep on going” which can host up to 1000 people and is known for long 3 day illegal events. In 2012 she was signed to Luciano’s DJ agency Aether Artist and began touring all over Europe playing her favorite vinyls. Her collection of minimal house music is known to move the dance floors with swift passion and her sets are known to last up to a preferably 24 hours. The fresh frequencies she brings have touched burning man, club Fabric in London, club Space Miami, The Mission festival in Romania, Sonus music festival in Croatia and Berlins top favorite temple of the underground “club dervisionaere” and many more. Her first e.p was released on Cadenza musics label called “deja vu”. 2017 she took a break from touring to compose 3 new eps and finish writing her first film which she will also produce and act. “Too Little Too Much” is a coming of age based in NYC that is set to release at the end of the year alongside her 3 e.ps.
